The Underhill Quick Coupler Claw is made from high strength ductile iron and comes in two sizes. The Claw fits 1 1/2" valves. Quick Coupler Claws restrain rotational, vertical and horizontal motions of the quick coupler valve. They are cast in one piece of ductile iron and attach to the quick coupler valve by means of hexagonal receptacle and a single Type 316 stainless steel bolt. The Claw shall have two tines aligned vertically and oriented 90º to each other. These tines shall extend a minimum of 6" below the plane of the attachment. The Claw fits within valve boxes without cutting the box.
